The activities of Ares 2.0 on social interest issues do not stop. The European Commission has decided to finance the project MARTE: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Recognize and Treat the Adverse Childhood Experience project, on the issue of protecting children’s rights and fight domestic violence. After the Children First project, which since December has seen us still active in strengthening the support services for minors victims of assisted violence, with the MARTE project, the experience of our organization to defend children is renewed.
Led by the social cooperative La Strada di Milano, and with an international partnership that includes Italian, Bulgarian, Greek and Slovenian organizations, MARTE will give rise to a research-action path aimed at strengthening operators’ skills through specific training activities and implementation of an operational toolkit with respect to the issue of protection of minors who have had traumatic experiences.
Also in this project Ares 2.0 will guide the communication and dissemination activities, as well as play an active role in the needs analysis and content production activities for the realization of the training toolkit.
