Ares 2.0, together with the Municipality of Rome, Popica and IRPPS-CNR, awarded the European JUSTICE project. It aims to create an institutional communication and training service in order to support a process of integration of the Roma community in the Municipality of Rome.

The specific activities are:

  • Training the operators of Municipality of Rome (managers and operators in front-offices and associations) for the development of standardized anti-discrimination procedures to welcome the Roma and other disadvantaged groups;
  • Training the Roma on how to approach services and support their involvement by providing basic knowledge on the rights and duties and practices of active citizenship;
  • To spread a greater awareness of the importance of anti-discrimination procedures for a more correct, effective and sustainable development of basic services;

• Create an open platform for the exchange of technical expertise and best practices, thus improving both the institutional capacity and the participation of the Roma
